Role Overview

As the Manager, Finance Systems, you will contribute to BGRS’ success by providing leadership within the team responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the company’s global financial systems. The Finance Systems team supports global systems that facilitate the successful operation of both corporate finance and corporate accounting, as well as the operational teams that serve and support our clients.

This role will be based remotely, and all interviews will be conducted remotely.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working with a team of analysts and peers to manage the development, implementation, maintenance and administration of the company’s worldwide finance systems, including the company’s ERP system and related system integrations.
• Maintaining processes that facilitate integrity of financial data and related financial processes, including the monitoring of cross-system integrations into, out of and between the company’s ERP and other financial systems.
• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives relevant to span of oversight including internal controls and process enhancements/redesign, risk assessment and mitigation, while supporting company-wide SOX/JSOX compliance and adherence to sound accounting and governance practices.
• Mentoring and development of cross-border professional team, including at least two direct reports (analysts).
• Liaising and working closely with other Finance functions (including Treasury, Tax, FP&A and Corporate Accounting) to leverage and promote cross functional expertise and efficiencies.
• Liaising with our Finance, IT and operating teams, including our Client Accounting teams, to troubleshoot finance system issues and coordinate the testing/deployment of relevant system updates.
• Coordinating with internal IT teams, 3rd party service providers and consultants, as needed, to address, test and deploy finance system bugs, enhancements and upgrades.
• Leveraging knowledge of finance systems, data tables and data querying capabilities (e.g. SQL) to deliver on standard and ad-hoc complex data reporting requests, as required, to support financial processes and reporting needs.

What You Bring to BGRS

• University degree in related discipline (accounting, business, finance or IT)
• 2+ years in a role with finance systems responsibilities, preferably with at least one year in a leadership role.
• International / High Volume / Multi-national experience preferred
• Proven relationship management experience
• Strategic thinker with well-developed decision-making skills
• Ability to work with 3rd party service providers and consulting partners
• Ability to work collaboratively across lines of business and functions
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation skills
• Experience with major financial reporting and management software packages (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SKG Treasury Automation Suite, and Hyperion Financial Management strongly preferred)
• Systems implementation experience strongly preferred
• Experience with system integrations, including integration with global banking platforms, preferred
• Experience with SQL and handling of complex data queries
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)

• Occasional travel may be required
