Better Business Bureau Great West & Pacific is currently seeking a Vice President of Partnership and Product Development to lead our organization in advancing partnerships and bringing new products to market. The ideal candidate will leverage their partnership building, product management experience and marketing savvy to build a partner strategy and roadmap for the organization as well as end-to-end product development. This individual will have a clear understanding of target markets and customers, including who uses the product, how they use it, and why they buy it. They will have intimate knowledge of customer needs and sensitivities, market dynamics, product life cycles, pricing, and what is needed to stay competitive or improve team efficiency.
A successful leader has extensive experience supervising a team and establishing and maintaining productive peer-to-peer relationships with stakeholders, customers, and prospects.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
Quickly develop a strong understanding of BBBs purpose, mission, products, market needs and the competitive landscape.
Deliver new product/partner sales and customer targets and continue building out a pipeline.
Help refine and shape a go-to-market strategy, value proposition, and pricing models for new and existing products, services, and partnerships.
Align with the sales organizations objectives with a firm business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
Impact accountability for effective new sales and new products/partner organization design, including new product development roles, sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
Lead professional development initiatives impacting new products and sales, providing stewardship of sales and sales management talent through active, productive partnerships with Human Resources and Learning and Development functions.
Assist in leading the sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive organizational change.
Team Management and Development
Lead, develop and support BBBs Business Development Team Leaders.
Be a player and a coach close your own deals while managing the new product sales teams performance.
Drive results and performance accountability through regular coaching and feedback.
