Finance Director – Healthcare
$120-160k plus 20-30% bonus

Bell & Associates, Inc. has been retained to recruit our client?s next Finance Director. Our client is an exciting Healthcare company who is significantly growing organically and through M&A. As the company grows, the VP-Finance sees this role succeeding his role in the near future.
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Finance Director will aid the company in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy. In addition, the Finance Director assists to streamline accounting functions and operations, provides financial analysis and reports, trains staff on business finance issues, promotes regulatory compliance, and drives income generation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with our accounting department to streamline vendor payment processes and improve the financial health of the company
Act as the primary support person for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activities
Reconcile corporate balance sheets and deliver summary reconciliation reports to the executive team
Collaborate with the payroll group to ensure that all deductions and payroll activities are compliant with payroll laws
Oversee all activities related to state and federal tax compliance issues
Analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports
Monitoring internal controls
Overseeing and preparing income statements
Participating in budgeting processes
Managing financial transactions
Streamlining accounting functions and operations
Developing plans for financial growth
Evaluating and managing risk
Coordinating audit processes
Skills and Requirements
7+ years professional work experience in accounting; Healthcare setting preferred
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or equivalent; Master?s Degree preferred
CPA preferred
Proven experience in finance management
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
Auditing experience
Compliance oriented
Proficiency in accounting software
Analytical skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other applications related to finance and accounting
