Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of SEO, SEM, PPC, Affiliate network, and Email marketing strategies and execution.

This is a hands-on role with exceptional attention to detail and a focus on driving results. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and are able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

Duties

• Develop, execute, monitor and optimize paid and organic search strategy
• Manage affiliate relationships, develop & execute affiliate management strategy
• Monitor and report spend and performance of natural search as well as paid brand and non-brand search advertising including Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Yahoo Gemini, Facebook, Google Shopping PLAs, Displays Ads, Retargeting, and Email marketing initiatives
• Develop and maintain SEM / SEO reporting dashboards and KPIs, report on key metrics, and analyze and interpret trends demonstrating know-how of ROI, CPA, CPC, CTR and ROAS
• Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate sales
• Optimize copy and landing pages for SEM
• Identifying powerful keywords and topics to drive the most valuable traffic
• Link building and link acquisition strategies including sharing content, content promotion, facilitating high-quality links, posting to online communities, etc.
• Manage onsite and offsite SEO strategy and implementation of recommendations
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented and maintain page rank
• Research and analyze competitor advertising links
• Develop, test, and analyze keywords, descriptions, bidding strategies and landing page URLs to maximize results, drive volume, and reach company targets

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business, etc.) .
• 3+ years of experience in Paid Search, SEO, Email Marketing, and Affiliate programs.
• AdWords Certified.
• Advanced level skills in Excel
• Strong communication skills; able to communicate complex information clearly
• Experience with website analytics tools, implementation with websites and setting up conversion tags and triggers (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, etc.)
