Beatnic Seaport is looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local business unit. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive. Our General managers are hands on leaders participating in each days service.
The role of General Manager is an integral part of the store team and will be expected to carry out other duties as appropriate to the business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Operational
-To maintain food and service quality and consistency in line with all company recipes
-To uphold standards of quality, presentation and cleaning throughout FOH and BOH
-To ensure business is effectively managed and staffed at all times
-To ensure that all DOH and company sanitation processes are followed
-To look after all the people who eat and drink with us.
Financial
-To be totally accountable to the financial results and controls within your store
-To optimize profitability through increased sales and controlled costs
-To report accurate purchase and wage costs on weekly basis
-To ensure all paperwork is completed as per manual and accurate
-To constantly focus on budgets but always spot and be open for new opportunities
People
-To build The best teams – FOH and BOH
-To ensure all team members receive the best instructions and training possible
-To have succession plan in place – Grow your Family Tree Organically
-To motivate and engage your Teams by leading as example
-To recognize talent and help people grow
-To always have 6 and 12 months plan in line with business growth
-To empower your People to deliver the best experience for our guests
Legal
-To ensure security of the premises, cash and stock.
-To make sure stock controls are followed up correctly
-To monitor maintenance of premises and equipment on regular bases, and report recommended action to the Heads
-To ensure standards in your store are constantly monitored and store looks clean and inviting at all times

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
