The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business with continuing the commitment to customer service as the main priority. The G.M. must be able to learn and possess a clear and complete understanding of P.O.S. procedures and policies as well reading understanding all aspects of Inventory management and retail pricing. They must be able to supervise and lead the team of managers, cashiers and maintenance workers in a fast paced 24 hour environment while maintaining the high level of customer service at all times. This G.M. is expected to manage, supervise and support the daily routines of all employees’ and decision maker on all aspects of the customer experience and interactions. The G.M is responsible for cleanliness, sustainability and profitability of the site and must report directly owners.
As General Manager you will need to meet the following requirements:
Must be able to use computers and open to new technology as well as understand financial documents, inventory level with margin reports. Understand proper inventory levels, gross profit and retail margin requirements. Be able to effectively manage and communicate with people, to include supervisors, cashiers and customers in a fast paced 24hr work environment.
Must have a “Whatever it takes” attitude and enjoy handling different challenges on a daily basis as well as flexible scheduling.
Must be an excellent problem solver and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
