Brand Manager – Brand Experience and Capability

Role Mission
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Brand Experience & Capability, this Capability Manager will lead key initiatives to embed and roll out the new Brand Building Model and the associated capabilities needed to deliver on BSI’s ambitious global vision. The role will provide the opportunity to interface with senior leadership across the organization, build your own marketing skills while helping build those of BSI marketers across the world and work with cross functional teams from around the world. This role requires solid leadership to work with key cross-functional and agency partners, a strong marketing foundation and demonstrated project management ability.

Role Responsibilities
Marketing Stewardship:
Assess current teams, tools, and ways of working across the organizing (brand houses, regional marketing and cross-functional support) to understand where capability gaps exist, and pockets of excellence that can be leveraged
Lead the development, codification and (implementation) of the Brand Building Capabilities including tools and ways of working making sure that they are clear, simple and strategically sound. Key areas of focus to include brand strategy, annual growth planning and consumer experience development, creative development
Champion the consumer to ensure they stay at the heart of all that we do
Liaise closely with the Global Brand House teams to support key brands in both strategic and creative development as needed
Build relationships with and influence cross-functional teams like Insights, Digital, Design, etc.
Project Management:
Develop the strategic road map and project plan to deliver on the capability vision set out by the President of Brands.
Oversee end-to-end development and roll out of modern marketing capability programs, from content development to execution of training.
Manage the budget, timelines and the scope of vendor or consultants for smooth and in-budget execution.
Own and manage central capability website.
Qualifications & Experience
5-6 years of brand or consumer marketing / agency strategy roles/ consulting experience
Bachelor´s Degree required; MBA preferred
Agency management experience required
Strong project management skills (including budget management) with demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across an organization
Ability to influence and gain credibility amongst peers
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and share learning with peers
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, proven resilience, entrepreneurship and team player
Proven ability to lead and execute projects that align with overall strategy
Sound written & verbal communication skills
Experience across multiple industries a plus
