The Manager of Store Finance for Bath and Body Works leads a team responsible for the management of expenses related to labor in the North American store fleet. This position is responsible for seasonal budgeting and in-season management of store labor spend for the United States and Canada. This manager will work cross functionally to develop strategies and support execution of labor hours allocations, wage rate guidance and leadership structures in the field. This position reports to the Director of Store Finance for Bath and Body Works and leads two to three Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst roles.
Lead a team to develop labor budgets and forecasts that fit within the total company financial architecture
Support weekly selling labor allocations and project-driven non-selling labor allocations that fit within operational strategies and financial architecture
Budget, project and review wage rates by position in the field as well store leadership levels in US and Canadian stores
Analyze business trends and strategies to identify risks or opportunities to current and future season projections
Work cross-functionally with Store Operations and Human Resources to facilitate strategic and tactical decision making
Find opportunities for continuous improvement in functional work, reporting and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
5-7 years’ proven experience in a Financial Analysis environment and Financial systems
Must be a problem-solver and be able to function in a high volume, dynamic environment that serves many high-profile internal customers
Proven ability to think analytically and creatively
Ability to communicate in an effective and clear manner with leaders to influence business decisions through fact-based analyses
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities
Highly motivated and demonstrates independent initiative in performance against objectives
Exhibits leadership competencies and professional judgement in dealing with peers, customers and senior leaders
Ability to distill, articulate and model sophisticated business questions/matters
Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Budgeting, project evaluation and spend/cost analysis skills
Proven ability to lead a team of financial professionals
Experience in a retail environment, a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
