We create Chemistry… Site Controlling Manager – Charlotte, NC The EDN Site Controlling and Finance Manager position will have responsibility for all aspects of site controlling for EDN North America based manufacturing plants. This will include month end closing, forecasting, budgeting, inventory valuation, and FRC controls. Position will also regularly engage with corporate functions, neighboring ODs, and global counterparts to review financial information and collaborate on projects. You will lead the EDN Site Controlling Team in North America. You are accountable for the management reporting and analysis and trusted for the integrity of the financial reporting and controls. You are also a proactive business partner to manufacturing operations, ensuring long and short- term business decisions fully consider all economic factors. Your successful leadership of the Annual Operational Planning process supports the formulation of long- term strategies for EDN operations. Your close partnership with the EDN leadership provides data and executes global decisions.
Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Eight years of broad-based financial management and/or accounting experience
Experience with business controlling in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experience managing teams and direct reports preferred
Experience with SAP and other relevant financial programs and software Knowledge/Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to think and act on both strategic and tactical levels. Must be highly motivated with strong self-directed capabilities. Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels and exhibit the potential for significant future career growth. Strong communication skills in working with all levels of the organization Ability to present and explain complex financial topics Strong PC skills in MS office applications and automated financial systems is essential.
