Barclays Looking for Business Manager at Whippany, NJ Full Time

As a Barclays Business Manager, you will support the Business Management team in delivering the day-to-day agenda for the AE. You will be working in partnership with the Workforce COE, assisting the Business Management team to provide insightful projections for MTP, Outlook, Transfers, scenario analytics & SI portfolio affordability shape. You will also support the Business Management team and TC AE in providing a high quality, consistent and standardized offering across the function.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the Business Manager and team in providing commentary of current & Outlook workforce reporting
• Providing the Business Management team support with annual planning cycle and regular RAF cycles including supporting the build of the annual plan from a workforce perspective
• Providing support to Business Management team in the adherence of the day-to-day agenda, strategic and ad-hoc assignments for Transaction Cycle AEs and their Leadership Teams
• Supporting the production of the Transaction Cycle Weekly’s, QBRs, MBRs etc. and ad-hoc activity to support Executive requests and requests from the business
• Supporting the Business Management team in delivering to the Transaction Cycle or Function lead ensuring compliance to the group wide governance and control framework

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a Business Management function with an excellent understanding of working with leaders on a day-to-day basis
• Experience in financial services
• Experience in operating in a multi-geographic, matrix organisation, with proven ability to balance commercial, client, and regulatory needs across businesses and geographies
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Ability to balance multiple critical requests from various stakeholders and prioritise in the right order
• Ability to drive and execute deliverables in short time frames and work with limited supervision and ability to thrive in a challenging and ever changing environment
• Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills across a variety of forums and mediums
