The VP for Finance & Administration/CFO is the chief financial officer responsible for developing the university’s overall financial policies and setting the strategic direction of all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. The VP for Finance & Administration/CFO ensures that proper financial controls are in place and that financial transactions support the overall business strategy while conforming with applicable laws and regulations.
The VP for Finance & Administration/CFO is also the chief business officer responsible for exceptional leaders: in Human Resources, Information & Media Technology, Facilities Management, and Auxiliary Services. He or she is responsible for setting divisional strategy for areas within the span of care, defining vision and strategy while providing direction and focus. Executing multiple high-impact initiatives to achieve overall university goals, the VP for Finance & Administration/CFO is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the university’s staff and service functions and ensures the operations of the university are within a secure, efficient, and organized work environment.

Finance
Human Resources
Through a divisional leader, provides oversight of the HR function related to the university’s human capital, human resources operations, programs, and services, including but not limited to employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and learning and development. Supports the university’s mission and strategic plan in addition to ensuring excellent consultative, strategic and operational services.
Information Media Technology (IMT)
Through a divisional leader, provides oversight of the IMT function related to the university’s technology and information services including the vision and strategy of university technology platform.
Facilities Development and Management
Through a divisional leader, provides oversight to facilities development and management, including maintenance operations, custodial, landscaping, transportation, construction and design, space planning, and asset management;owned and leased property.
Auxiliary Services
Through a divisional leader, provides oversight to Auxiliary Services, including housing, dining/hospitality services, and the university bookstore. Provides management of the Auxiliary Services functions, including the Bon Appetit contract, setting housing and dining rates and reviewing the profitability of Auxiliary Services.
