AvMEDICAL, LLC Looking for Director of Finance at Pulaski, TN Full Time

JOB SUMMARY

Director of Finance will oversee all financial planning, strategy, and analysis at the company, the development of the annual budget, manage cash flow, and create financial reports. Responsible for developing financial policies and procedures and ensuring that they are followed. Work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to ensure the financial health of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

* Monitor the company’s financial position and take action to prevent potential issues

* Development of the annual budget with department leadership team

* Management of cash flow

* Financial performance and risk analysis

* Oversee all audit and internal control operations to include state, federal and governmental agencies

* Maintain company credit cards and expense reporting programs

* Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

* Oversee and participate in the direction of the company’s ERP/Financial IT system

* Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local taxes (Sales and payroll); sales tax returns (monthly/quarterly/annually)

*Ability to build and lead a qualified financial team

*Maintain all local, state and federal business licenses and reports

*Oversee corporate liability and product insurance

*Manage IFF (Industrial Funding Fee) payments

*Reconcile multiple bank accounts

*Oversee financial bank wires

*Obtain and track resale certificates

*Conduct and audit distributions, per corporate operating agreement

*Maintain depreciation schedules/fixed assets

*Perform tax related functions

*Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements to present and review with leadership

*Prepare annual reports for multiple states

*Obtain all sales tax exemption certificates from customers

*Oversee running/posting of CC orders, payments and deposits

*Submit federal invoices (e-cat, email and tungsten)

*Analyze and reconcile rebates and tracings

*Monthly reconciliation of unauthorized deductions or payments

*Interact with CIO for IT needs and customized reporting

*Administer and oversee bonding

*Post returns, shortages and damaged items in accumatica

*Oversee daily deposits, accounts payable and accounts receivable

*Manage purchasing

*Prepare expense report for CEO

*Post journal entries

*Month end procedures

*Approve weekly check run

Requirements and skills

* BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field

*Federal/State/Sales tax experience required

* Proven experience as a Director of Finance or equivalent role

* In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices

* Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting

* An analytical mind with strategic ability

* Excellent organizational and leadership skills

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

* Proficiency with modern office technology and software

Prefer to have:

* CPA or similar

* Experience with the Acumatica ERP system

* Experience with Concur

* Experience with EDI

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
