What are you going to do? Learn and take over our existing marketing processes and strategy. Then build upon them.
Graphic Design/Marketing Coordination (30%)
· Manage the production and creation of educational sales materials that may include videos, brochures, testimonials, technique papers, white papers and publications etc.
· Manage and coordinate graphic/video production with freelancers/interns
· Ideally the candidate is well versed in photoshop/premiere to improve production turnaround
· Curate content from Company and produce into meaningful and impactful marketing products weekly
· Manage and organize marketing paper and digital assets
· Develop assets for new products
Digital Marketing – Generate Quality Leads (30%)
· Email marketing, sequencing, drip campaigns for multiple products, and multiple market segments
· Measure campaign effectiveness and develop improvements
· Manage and create social ad campaigns
· Setup marketing experiments
· Develop and support automations in pipedrive/hubspot (or similar)
· Develop tools to measure marketing effectiveness (lead origin tracking, conversion rates etc.)
· Develop and maintain marketing workflows
· New product launch campaigns
· Get meetings for sales team in the field via blasts and outreach
Social Media Management (10%)
· Learn current best practices and train to be able to write Copy
· Schedule IG/LI other social platforms with Hootsuite or similar
· Generate leads, nurture leads and provide them to sales team
· Analyze KPI’s to optimize content strategies and posting schedules
Tradeshow/Events Management (10%)
· Coordinate conferences, tradeshows, podcasts and events
· Support national sales events
· Webinar and live event creation
· Create and publish marketing materials and assets for events
Website Management (10%)
· Work with Wordpress to keep marketing materials up to date on website
· Manage web development partners for code-based changes
· Publish onto website marketing blogs and content / keyword and SEO optimization
· Analyze and track website performance, Improve click through efficacy of landing pages
Improve and Build Avitus Marketing Operations (10%)
· Identify ways to improve and propose to management
· Automate processes
· Understand and learn the needs of our surgeons, distributiors and hospitals
· Market research of trends and identifying market opportunities for Avitus
100% of the time you will maintain a can-do attitude, and join us in the relentless pursuit of positively impacting the universe. You will at times have to use some elbow grease and execute tasks to get other operations done. People will depend on you. If duty calls, you may need to be a sales rep, a fulfillment specialist, a janitor, a market researcher, or a business development associate for a day.
You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
You will have direct support, collaboration and visibility from the Founders of the Company.

Qualifications and Skills:
§ BS/BA/MBA degrees with a minimum of 3-5 years experience or –OR Demonstratable badassery as a marketing whiz with a minimum of 5 years experience in a marketing function; preferably in medical devices or healthcare in an FDA regulated environment
§ Demonstratable experience managing and executing multiple vectors of the marketing of a product or service such as: social media marketing management, digital marketing campaigning, email campaigns, advertising, product launch, in-field marketing, marketing collateral design and development, marketing analytics and optimization for effectiveness, lead generation and follow-up, messaging, and brand development
§ Previous experience scaling and automating marketing processes on a low-cost budget
§ Experience managing, planning, and executing tradeshows and marketing events
§ Effective search skills on: the internet, journal publication databases and market research databases
§ Strong and creative communication and presentation skills; creating unique and captivating content is fun for you
§ Stellar verbal/written communication skills
§ Effective planning, organization and prioritization skills
§ Incredibly strong digital organization and file management skills
§ Ability to collaborate and manage external vendors and partners
§ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
§ Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro
§ Proficiency with Hootsuite or equivalent
§ Proficiency with Mailchimp or equivalent
§ Very strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills
§ Ability to collate information and knowledge to find an answer when coming across an unknown
§ Ability to define problems, establish facts, and utilize critical and logical reasoning to draw valid, viable conclusions
§ Deploys de-risking techniques to “get it right” the first time when and where appropriate
§ Demonstrable bias for action, must be a DOER
§ Attention to detail balanced with a long-term vision
§ Any proficiency or familiarity with CRM software such as Pipedrive/Hubspot is a plus
§ Adobe Illustrator/Adobe Design Suite proficiency is a plus
§ Previous experience with clinical writing is a plus
§ Clinical/anatomy & physiology background is a plus
Physical Demands:
The team member may have to construct tradeshow booths, and maneuver objects up to 35lbs. The team member may need to stand in an operating room with 10lb lead vest for long periods at a time.
Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time position with typical start-up business hours out of our Shelton, CT HQ.
It may reasonably require additional hours during the week and weekend;
specific requirements will be determined with Manager.
Travel:
May require up to 20% of overnight travel.
Work Status:
Must be legally authorized to work In the US on a full-time basis.
