Avery Dennison is hiring a contract Recruiter/Sourcer to support recruiting efforts for our North American Talent Acquisition Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting full lifecycle recruitment for various functions and sites in our network, as well as sourcing and screening candidates for roles supported by other recruiters. The ideal candidate should be a dedicated and highly-engaged teammate who thrives in a fast paced work environment and can effectively partner with Human Resources and Hiring Teams across North America.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Support end-to-end recruitment processes for positions which may include: requisition posting, sourcing and phone interviewing, providing guidance on the selection of candidates, leading interview consensus/wrap-up meetings, processing offers and coordinating pre-employment steps.
Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) and Internet sourcing tools to fill open positionsÂ
Utilize available sourcing tools to identify candidates for open positions (those supported by both yourself and Talent Acquisition Managers)
Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teammates to plan for hiring needs and build recruitment strategies
Deliver ongoing progress updates to stakeholders
Ensure a positive candidate and hiring team experience by providing timely feedback and consistent communication
Perform administrative tasks and project work associated with the role which may involve interview scheduling, processing offers and job postings, and updating reports/spreadsheets
Participate in team meetings with Talent Acquisition and North American Human Resources teams.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of recruiting, sourcing, HR and/or related experience is required
Familiarity with talent sourcing tools including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google/search engine recruitment and related tools and techniques is strongly preferred.
Prior experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS) preferred.
A knowledge of employment laws and regulations is required.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with an ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Ability to flex hours, as needed, to accommodate multiple time zones
Ability to conduct a high volume of phone screens on a daily basis is a requirement
