Auto Europe Hiring for SEO Specialist – Digital Marketing Job at Portland, ME Full Time

We are currently looking for a proactive digital marketer to join our growing E-commerce marketing team. The SEO Specialist will work to monitor organic search engine performance on Auto Europe websites and develop and implement insightful recommendations to improve search rankings, traffic, engagement and conversion.

The successful SEO Specialist will be focused, reliable and have the ability to multi-task to quickly deliver in a fast-paced marketing department. We are seeking a self-starter who is excited to share new ideas and collaborate with team members to drive more website traffic and conversions. Auto Europe is well-established travel industry leader, founded in 1954 and servicing over 2 million travelers annually. Our footprint spans the globe with main offices in Portland, Maine, Lisbon, Munich and Sydney.

This role can be performed partially remotely but in-office time will be required, seeking candidates in commuting distance to Portland, ME.

Responsibilities Include:

• Identifying and executing opportunities to increase qualified organic traffic
• Creating and maintaining content pages in our content management system (Mura)
• Monitoring and reporting on search engine rankings
• Keeping pace with search engine best practices and working with the team to apply them to our websites
• Identifying link building opportunities to increase page authority

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in organic SEO
• A working knowledge of search engine algorithms and best practices
• Experience using Google Analytics for tracking and reporting
• Experience with Google Search Console
• General knowledge of HTML
• Experience with SEMRush, Google Tag Manager and/or Mura CMS a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
