Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:
Strategic FP&A:
Coordinate with our podcast business leaders to standardize budgeting and forecasting across the various podcast studios and businesses. This will require independently pressure testing inputs/outputs and obtaining buy-in from all involved stakeholders.
Proactively identify podcast revenue/profitability enhancement opportunities across the entire podcast business.
Help plan and refine our podcast production functions and budgets.
Analyze and make recommendations for all capital and headcount allocation decisions.
Content/Greenlighting:
Build the business case for all new podcast content investment, helping new shows receive a greenlight.
Oversee podcast partner relationships from a finance perspective, including structuring and interpreting key contractual terms.
Finance/Accounting/Reporting:
Create inventory models for the entire podcast business unit.
Identify opportunities to automate financial reporting, particularly for periodic, recurring reports.

Required & Preferred:
Minimum of 2-5 years working in podcast, media, or tech finance. Investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting experience preferred.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills and attention to detail.
Significant financial modeling experience.
Ability to successfully manage multiple independent tasks and activities across business lines as well as with external partners.
Exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, including experience presenting information to and influencing senior business executives; both internally and externally.
Work independently as well as in a team environment.
Capable of training (and managing managing) other team members with a proven ability to translate strategy into fully-realized and actionable tactical plans.
Understand and communicate customer needs and business strategies.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
