The position is on the finance team of an expanding merchant bank, which provides trusted advice to companies and families and invests in closely held enterprises.
An individual interested in exceptional opportunities for career growth, including responsibilities beyond typical finance, will excel in this role.
Responsibilities may include :
o Review of the month-end close & consolidation process for 30+ entities
o Participate in the development and review of the annual investor meeting presentation, which includes a comprehensive annual overview of company’s financial performance
o Assist with investor reporting including preparation of quarterly financial statements and partner’s capital statements
o Review consolidated GAAP financial statements presented on a quarterly and annual basis
o Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborating with other team members and digital transformation team to streamline and automate processes
o Review financial dashboard and scorecard reports summarizing revenue and expense metrics by client, location, and department, integral to assessment of business performance.
o Review quarterly valuations and accounting for interests in the merchant bank’s funds and outside investments
Company Requirements :
Bachelors degree required, CPA preferred
5-9 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)
