The Role
Mission
Develop and execute long range plan to drive growth of strategic products within Edmac. Drive equivalent product use across the Edmac customer base, support acquisitions into the Edmac product line, and lead the capture and analysis of VOC (Voice of the Customer).
Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development – Through analysis of VOC, and review of product data, create long range development plans by product category. Consider customer need, market share growth, sales volume / margin potential, and synergies within the Global Edmac organization. Implement planning in coordination with sales, communications, and general management teams with regular contact to internal AC group companies. Create, analyze, and report tracking to show the effectiveness of business plan implementation in driving business targets. Manage the pricing actions (set prices, create price books, communication etc.) for Edmac, ensuring pricing delivers margin / revenue growth, and drives increase in competitive market share. Manage technical support for Edmac, including involvement in strategic quotes, research of new technologies, and on occasion how to support older, potentially obsolete machines.
Personal Development – Take personal responsibility for your own career development by updating job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations. Utilize the Global Business Portal, Internal JobMarket database, Competence Portal and engage in other competence development activities to continually work towards personal growth and career development.
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

Experience
An entrepreneurial approach with at least three years’ experience in the compressed air business. Should have good understanding of common compressor technology and awareness of main competitive OEM brands. Parts product knowledge on one or more of non-Atlas Copco compressor OEM’s and relevant multi-channel sales experience is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Skills
Must be a self-directed team player, who has a positive attitude, can motivate those around them, and is service oriented. Must also have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in SAP and C4C would be an advantage. Some travel to support field sales activities will be required.
