Description:
The Timekeeper will need to safely perform position specific responsibilities in line with Olympic Steel’s Core Values to ensure a high level of productivity. Customer service with Department heads while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Responsible for weekly Kronos timekeeping and attendance tracking for 3-4 non-local divisions. Will work closely with the Operations team at each division and Corporate Payroll team for verification and approval of hours worked. The Timekeeper will also work closely with other payroll staff to assist with other divisions as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
•1+ years of Timekeeping and/or Payroll experience. •Associate degree preferred but not required. •Experience with timekeeping systems required, Kronos preferred. •Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word. •Excellent customer service orientation, communication and interpersonal skills. •Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters. •Extremely detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and accuracy. •Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
