Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months (possible temp to hire)
Schedule: M-F; 8:30AM-5:00PM/ possibility of hybrid work schedule
Job Summary:
Prepares financial statements and reports for the company’s internal reporting needs and external
reporting requirements, including quarterly statutory reporting and audited financial statements
and footnote disclosures in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United
States, on an annual basis, while maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Assists with transactions entered into clinic by researching technical accounting guidance and preparing technical accounting memoranda to document the provider’s position on the appropriateness of accounting treatment in accordance with applicable accounting guidance.
Coordinates, develops and updates written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
Prepares various disclosure checklists for financial reporting in connection with the company’s year end audit.
Required Skills:
3 years public accounting experience
Knowledge of risk-bearing organizations, managed care delegation arrangements and DMHC reporting requirements
Strong technical U.S. GAAP accounting knowledge
Preferred Skills:
3 years of public accounting experience
Experience working with the Lawson application preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA Designation
