Summary:
The Information Technology department is looking for a driven and dynamic IT Finance and Admin Manager with solid financial management and technology acumen to manage all aspects of the key IT financial management processes: planning, budgeting, tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting. This person will be responsible for ensuring the key processes are efficient, effective, and follow best practices. The key performance measure is an accurate budget and forecast enabling business decisions to be made regarding investments and funding. Identification of expense reduction opportunities is also a critical part of this position. This position reports directly to the Director, IT Business Operations.
In this position, you will never be bored! The ASPCA supports a broad portfolio of technologies to support a highly mobile and diverse staff. Maintaining a presence in multiple geographic locations, the team provides support (hands-on and remote) to over a dozen facilities and field operations, and over a thousand individual staff members. Your work will be integral to the organization as you work cross-functionally to ensure ASPCA staff, partners and communities have the tools needed to work effectively and efficiently to improve animal welfare.
The IT Finance and Admin Manager will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to create and support simple, scalable, compliant, and more automated ASPCA mission-critical information and systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have a desire to support the ASPCA in achieving our mission of ending cruelty to animals.
This is a remote-based position (which requires some travel, as described below) is open to all candidates based within the United States. A candidate that is able to work on-site from our New York City ASPCA Office is preferred.

Education and Work Experience:
Bachelors, High School Diploma (Required)
At least 3 years experience leading annual budget process for a large team, At least 7 years experience in finance, preferably with a focus on IT finance or other applicable area, Bachelors degree in Accounting, or relevant work experience, Experience developing new financial models and cost allocation methods, Experience identifying expense reduction opportunities through analysis of resource utilization and unit cost trends, Experience working in organizations with at least 500 employees preferred, Expertise with ERP/financial reporting systems, Workday preferred, Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word and PowerPoint and advance Excel is required
