This role falls within The Resource Group’s Operations and Logistics Optimization Solution. Operations and Logistics Optimization comprises six communities working together to align inventory and data management, operational procedures, and key performance indicators, and to deliver a cost-effective, highly-efficient managed distributor model. By combining a culture of hospitality with leading operations and logistics processes and controls, these communities of skilled associates ensure resource and supply management runs silently in the background and operates in service of physicians, clinicians, leadership, and associates.
As an Associate Manager for Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day supply chain operations and logistics at The Resource Group’s Participant sites. You will also ensure the continuity of care, track and analyze data, and enhance customer service to Participants. Additionally, you will support the maintenance of bin locations, manage local Supply Chain associates, and oversee labor hours. Your goal will be to provide the highest levels of service and hospitality, reducing disruptions found in typical supply chains, so caregivers can focus on providing care to patients rather than the supplies needed to do so.
Responsibilities
Order, track, and manage supplies and local inventory
Maintain local delivery schedules and escalate supply needs for emergent cases
Ensure the continuity of care through efficient delivery and stocking of inventory throughout a Participant site
Track and analyze data and KPIs to monitor progress and quickly identify and react to issues
Assist in the development of local relationships to enhance customer service to Participants
Analyzing and monitoring accuracy of departmental supply budgets, regulatory compliance, supply and service contracts, and vendor relations
Understand the financial statement impact of the activities performed by the operations team
Clear understanding of balance-sheet and income statement impacts from inventory and other requisitions
Troubleshoot questions from Finance/Accounting to determine operational causes of financial variations
Assist Resource Group Participants (healthcare facilities) in achieving their financial goals
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
Bachelor’s degree HIGHLY preferred
2 years of relevant experience
