The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the monitoring and execution of the cash disbursement process and banking function of the company. The Treasury Analyst will oversee cash management to help ensure the company’s financial operations run smoothly, with the freedom and flexibility to develop processes and procedures to increase efficiency and provide value to our stakeholders. Seeking organized, motivated financial professional to ensure department accuracy, efficiency and provide strong teamwork to our Treasury department.
Treasury Analyst Responsibilities:
Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports
Monitor daily cash positions of the company; perform required funding and transfers
Monitor positive pay results for disbursement accounts; follow up with the appropriate departments to identify potentially fraudulent checks
Prepare bank reconciliations
Maintain listings of unprocessed cash and bank reconciliation items, and coordinate resolution with
Finance team members
Monitor bank fees and identify cost saving opportunities
Liaise with bank relationship managers for maintenance of banking accounts
Monitor compliance with state escheat procedures and prepare escheat reports as required, including reporting of outstanding checks to AP
Prepare intercompany reconciliations and settlement of balances
Develop and document key controls and procedures
Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved
Maintain effective, timely and professional communication with providers and management.
Collaborate with our Accounting team to provide information necessary for additional analysis and for preparation of monthly financial
Performs other tasks, functions and projects as assigned by Manager, Controller or CFO
Treasury Analyst Qualifications:
High school diploma and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
1+ years of relevant accounting experience with large volume, multi-entity company
Advanced MS Excel skills required
Strongly desired – experience with Sage, Oracle NetSuite, or similar programs
Proficient with high volume of transactions
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Experience with accounting principles
