Ascendo Resources is seeking an exceptional Financial Analyst for its esteemed client, a PREMIER manufacturer of sensors, power and temperature control products for the heating industry.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to analyze and evaluate financial data, study business and economic trends and provide insight on our business condition to help management make business decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Prepare historical sales trending reports and forecasts

2. Variance analysis and explanations of results versus forecast

3. Prepare historical sales trending reports and compare versus rolling forecast

4. Key performance indicators trends to explain results

5. Return on investment analysis

6. Prepare the monthly bookings comparison report

7. Prepare monthly labor reports

8. Analyze cost of sales by product categories with emphasis on unfavorable variances

9. Analyze costing exceptions by item

10. Review large new orders to maintain healthy margins

11. Review freight invoices working with carriers on discrepancies

12. Back-up month end close including the preparation of journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing financial statements.

13. Back-up payroll processing for the Plant

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Intermediate excel and power point skills

2) Strong analytical and KPI skills

3) Manufacturing and inventory experience

4) Analytical mind for trends and ability to communicate it clearly both verbally and visually

5) Desire to learn the computer systems and increase efficiencies

Pay: $85,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
