Armstrong Teasdale is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join its team. The Accounting Clerk/Admin supports the accounting department through administrative tasks. This individual plays a vital role in ensuring accuracy of deposits and various accounting duties performed on a daily/monthly basis.
Essential Functions: _Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. _
1. Completes daily bank deposits
2. Rectifying aged outstanding checks
3. Creates the Daily Cash Sheet
4. Responding to Accounting Information Center requests
5. Manages General Ledger monthly department reporting
6. Oversees the retention of documents by electronic scanning and filing
7. Makes monthly journal entries
8. Reconciles balance sheet accounts

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education : Associate s degree in accounting, finance or business
Required Licenses and/or Certifications : N/A
Required Experience: Intern-2 years of Banking, Accounts Payable or Cash Application experience
Preferred Experience : Knowledge of Excel
Supervisory Responsibilities : N/A
Physical Activity : The employee will be required to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
