We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our Privately Held Business team which focuses on:
Individuals
Small Businesses
High Net Worth Individuals
Partnership Returns
Flow-Through Entities
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
WHAT YOU’LL DO: RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation and Review of Tax returns (Individuals (1040), Trusts (1041 and 5227), Partnerships (1065), S and C-corps (1120), Gift (709) Charitable Organizations (990-PF))
Accounting work needed for tax returns
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with client senior management
Develop solutions for clients and champion the implementation of ideas
Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope and work plan with client
Identify assignment resource requirements and ensure the most appropriate resources are assigned to specific assignment roles
Anticipate, identify and resolves complex assignment issues
Seek regular client assessment of assignment progress and overall feedback on performance
Work with the manager group to generate leads, contacts and sales
Manage groups to ensure profitability in the short and long term

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, Master’s in Taxation preferred
Minimum of 4-5 years of US tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting
CPA license
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
