Accounts Payable Specialist Cleveland, OH

ARC is looking for a Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to help us continue to provide the best employment experience for employees; and, continued excellent service for our customers.

Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring and executing timely and accurate payments for vendors.

These are the exciting things you get to do:

• Perform 3-way matching of the invoice, purchase order and packing slip
• Enter invoices into the accounting system
• Review for appropriate documentation and approvals prior to payment
• Print and obtain signatures on checks
• Process extremely high volume of invoices daily (approximately 300)
• Perform account reconciliations
• Code invoices with appropriate GL Code
• Prepare accruals
• Research vendor disputes and follow up on pending credit memos
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Provide internal and external customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned

** You can expect to work some overtime during critical deadlines specifically month-end close**

These are what we are looking for:

• High School Degree or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Microsoft Applications proficiency
• Ability to pay strong attention to details
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and align operations and sales processes to achieve business results
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
