Job Summary:
The D365 Finance & Operations Consultant will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) solutions. The role requires working closely with clients to understand their business processes, designing efficient solutions, and ensuring a seamless implementation experience. This consultant will serve as a subject matter expert in D365 F&O, providing leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.
• Work closely with clients to understand business requirements, providing insights and recommendations on best practices for optimizing financial and operational processes.
• Customize and configure D365 F&O modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement & Sourcing, and others.
• Develop functional specifications for customizations, interfaces, and reports.
• Provide end-user training, support, and documentation during and after implementations.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and timely delivery of milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Assist in troubleshooting, support, and ongoing system enhancements.
• Stay updated with the latest features and updates in D365 F&O and recommend improvements where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including implementations and configurations.
• Strong knowledge of finance and operational business processes.
• Experience with D365 modules such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, and Procurement.
• Familiarity with integrating D365 F&O with other Microsoft tools and third-party applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or related areas are highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Project management experience and knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding of Power BI, Power Apps, or Azure services.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
