Responsibilities:
The Accounting Manager will be called upon to supervise and oversee the daily operations and activities of the Accounting Department. The role will require the Accounting Manager to establish financials processes using GAAP, by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting accurate information for monthly and yearly financial reporting.
Other Tasks may include:
-Handling weekly payroll weekly
-Process Accounts Payable
-Assist VP of Finance with leading financial audit requirements and documentation.
-Ensure sales and use tax returns and corporate reporting filing requirements are being met and are on time for multiple states
-Handle sales tax audits and Certificates of Insurance requirements.
-Assist Senior Accounting to maintain fixed asset ledger, including monthly additions, disposals and depreciation.
-Assist with personal property tax filings.
Skills:
€Bachelor€s degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred
€5
years Accounting experience
-CPA highly preferred
€Strong verbal and written communication skills
€Ability to multi-task with tight deadlines
€Excellent organizational, time management, detail-oriented and a team player €Proficiency in Excel, Outlook. Net Suite experience highly preferred.
