Today, our technology and services power advertising in Search Ads in the App Store and Apple News. The Ad Platforms EPM team is looking for a top-tier Engineering Project Manager to help deliver the systems and capabilities needed to invoice, collect, and recognize ad revenue. The EPM will play a pivotal role in leading multi-functional projects working with software engineers, product managers, external system owners, engineering leaders, and other EPMs to ensure business objectives are delivered on time and with the utmost quality. Additionally, the EPM will work with one or more engineering teams to lead and facilitate planning, scheduling, and execution of a dynamic backlog of work, paying close attention to project dependencies, risks, and timelines – all in a fast-paced environment!
Key Qualifications
8+ years in project, program, or product management
5+ years experience running sophisticated, cross-functional projects with multiple dependencies and collaborators
3+ years experience in Agile software development as a core member of a Scrum team; experience acting as Scrum Master or Product Owner on a cross-functional scrum preferred
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning software like SAP and other accounting, finance, and tax systems preferred
An outstanding ability to supervise, follow through, and deliver on commitments
Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of the organization
Passion for learning new technologies and ownership of projects, strategies, and solutions
Experience representing product and technology solution details of the teams you lead
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES – Act as Scrum Master and project manager for a team passionate about complex projects that enable the fast-paced growth of our organization through finance and billing systems that support internal and external customers. – Influence, track, and manage multi-functional requirements, alignment to internal reviews and procedures, timelines, and dependencies with peers and senior leaders and collaborators while representing and sharing project schedules, status, and uncertainties using various communication channels and types. – Build a strong understanding of the product strategy and technology guiding the team’s work, applying your knowledge to help facilitate discussion and decisions regarding priorities, scope, risks, and tradeoffs. – Contribute to continuous improvements to our internal processes such as our Agile journey and Scrum methodology. – Serve as liaison between Product and Engineering to figure out creative ways to deliver against an evolving backlog of projects. – Provide leadership and recommendations in shaping the team’s organization, execution, and operational strategy. – Apply your knowledge and experience to the overall excellence of the Ad Platforms organization and our PMO.
