Opportunity Overview: Responsibility Summary/Job Description Responsible for timely and accurate compensation for Client Transition programs to ensure financial integrity of the compensation program. Understand financial impacts and asset sharing policies in order to collaborate with Stakeholders on decisions and compensation plan approval. Build relationships and collaborate with department stakeholders to ensure work that flows between teams, departments, and divisions is completed timely and accurately Collaborate with the digital product team on automation opportunities. Provide adequate service to our branch teams, service areas, and internal stakeholders Ensure adequate controls are in place and operating effectively. Complete monthly journal entries and GL account reconciliations to ensure all Compensation related expense is accurately reflected on the Firm’s Financial Statements. Understand upstream and downstream impacts to decisions being made to evolve a process, make an exception, assess a production issue, etc. Identify and implement process improvements. Provide coverage across the team as needed. This individual would work closely with our Client Transition area and with members of our own team in order to execute their responsibilities.
Position Requirements: Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in relevant field Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) General knowledge of accounting practices and principles Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to identify and implement necessary controls Ability to retrieve and analyze data from multiple sources Ability to exercise influence without authority Preferred Qualifications Proficient in Peoplesoft and Business Intelligence Tools preferred Ability to solve problems, recommend and implement solutions Financial services industry experience preferred Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferred
