POSITION OVERVIEW

The Area Manager has leadership responsibility for their entire operating region, with direct supervisory responsibilities of Store Managers. As the Area Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of 8-10 stores and carry out company policies and guidelines.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Self-aware, dedicated leader with proven experience managing a team of 10 or more employees where responsibilities included interviewing, hiring, training, counseling and termination of teammates

Previous experience with performance management including coaching, setting expectations, writing and delivering performance reviews, managing disciplinary actions, and holding teammates accountable for results

Take ownership of local operations to ensure that operational standards and maintained and budgeted financial performance is achieved

Assist in the training of Service Managers and auto technicians

Strong motivator and role model to teams with the ability to proactively evaluate problems and provide effective solutions

Ensure stores deliver exceptional customer service and value to their customers

Strong acumen around business development and strategy implementation

Proven sales leader with the ability to train others in successful sales techniques and strategies

Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new and existing company specific software applications

Demonstrated experience managing a P&L

QUALIFICATIONS

**Must have multi-unit management experience in the tire or automotive repair business**

Must possess a current valid driver’s license

Ability to work flexible hours/days including evenings and weekends; additional time may be required depending on business needs

Frequent travel within assigned district
