Aon is looking for a Senior Operations Accountant Responsibilities: Lead initiative to improve and streamline cash reconciliation process for Affinity Insurance Programs Partner with Financial Control to resolve bank reconciliation variances, identify inconsistencies, and create transparency Assist regional Accounting Operations team with variance resolution by conducting training sessions and developing best practices and techniques Create and maintain metrics dashboard to illustrate progress made on projects Become SME for various policy admin systems and partner with IT to create standardized reports Develop thorough understanding of Accounting Operations functions and make recommendations for process improvements Support monthend close process by ensuring information, produced by the various policy admin systems, is accurate along with providing commentary for any variances Perform ad-hoc analysis Oversee smaller ad-hoc projects, audits, and technology enhancement testing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Highly proficient in Excel Self-motivated and driven individual Complex problem solver Ability to adapt in a changing and fast-paced environment Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities Comfortable communicating and interacting with all levels of management Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to process information with high levels of accuracy Strong Customer Service focus Ability to work independently and as a team Required Experience: 4+ years related experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Mathematics We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
