Anderson Insurance Associates, Inc. Looking for Personal Lines Account Manager/CSR at Charleston, SC Full Time

A Personal Lines Account Manager assists in the production, support and retention of personal insurance accounts. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, additional responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Securing and submitting required renewal underwriting information
• Renewing coverage, remarketing/rewriting accounts, expanding/placing new coverage for existing accounts
• Updating existing policies and records to reflect requested changes by the Client and/or Carrier
• Advising Clients of coverage and options, soliciting increases in coverage, resolving issues on behalf of the Client and/or Carrier

Requirements:

• Preferred five years of practical experience in similar position at an independent insurance agency with underwriting and rating background; must have previous personal Property & Casualty experience
• Requires an ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately
• Must be a self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Must embrace a client-focused, service-driven, team mentality
• Previous working knowledge of Applied/Epic or similar insurance account management software is preferred

Education / Licensing

• High School diploma required; Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree is preferred; additional insurance designations (CIC, CISR, etc.) are preferred
• Must have an active South Carolina Property & Casualty producer license
