JOB SUMMARY
Executes distinguished events, with accountability for significant income targets, as well as event-related mission and advocacy activities. Ensures goal achievement through effective leadership and collaboration with diverse teams, and the engagement and mobilization of volunteers. Works closely with Major Gifts staff to identify and cultivate donors for sustainable needs fundraising.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for the achievement of income performance targets for a portfolio of distinguished events such as galas, and other high end market events.
Responsible for effectively and efficiently completing activities and meeting target deadlines in order to execute successful distinguished events within a specific market.
Provides input on planning for distinguished events, including goal setting, event logistics, volunteer committees, and evaluation.
Able to cultivate relationships with targeted systems/organizations, including mobilization of a diverse population of community volunteers and major donors.
Identifies and executes best practices that result in growth of event revenue in alignment with income plans; drives and encourages innovation.
Works within a team to meet ACS PR mission and income goals.
Work with community volunteer committees for recruitment, development and retention.
Builds strong relationships and directly collaborates with staff within the Corporate & Distinguished Partners team to leverage external affiliations and accomplish shared goals.
Support the Corporate account management activities.
Supports the Director, Corporate & Distinguished Partners to ensure mission, top line, and bottom line goals are reached as well as compliance with enterprise policies.
Ensures compliance with ACS policies, including employment, risk management, event and cash handling, and financial controls.
Actively demonstrate and cascade the enterprise-wide mindsets: integrity, collaboration and stewardship.
