Overview
You will work with a dedicated group of professionals and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations of the division and supervising the finance team.
In addition, you will work closely with the Division Finance Director to develop and implement policies related to the financial management of caseloads within the division.

The successful applicant will work from Dallas, TX, on a hybrid basis (approximately 50% on-site). This position’s starting annual salary range is $67,000 – $68,900, with an annual incentive opportunity.

Responsibilities
Manage daily financial operations, including accounts receivable, case financial reconciliation, and post-case collections.
Supervises and directs the work of 4+ employees; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the AAA’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Provides recommendations and feedback to management on procedural issues.
Assists divisional staff with billing plans and timeframes.
Provides supplemental information to management on cases requiring more comprehensive details for collections.
Monitors audit and approves finalized financial adjustments.
Generates s to divisional staff concerning financial information needed to manage their cases financially.
Oversees billing, reallocations, cancellations, and reissuance of neutral check requests and refunds.
Conducts audits as a quality control measure.
Assists in specialized case programs.
Collaborates with the divisional teams and finance staff to ensure consistency in procedures.
Maintains and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Regularly attends meetings and training events, both on-site and virtual.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Associate’s degree in accounting or related discipline; 4-6 years of prior finance experience with at least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, in a customer service or judicial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal files, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine s and business correspondence; ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers, attorneys, arbitrators, mediators and employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to understand and interpret statistical s, financial/fee schedules, data charts, and graphs.
Technical Skills:
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
