Manager, Finance & Energy Procurement

Position Overview:
The Manager, Finance & Energy Procurement will support both the Procurement and Business Unit teams in the objective of achieving profit and operating targets.
Focus of the position will be on coordinating P+ financial ing, energy dashboard management, and drive energy procurement processes.
Must have a winning/ proactive attitude with entrepreneurial spirit.
Advance knowledge of ing tools, Microsoft applications and ERP systems as well as advance analytical skills including data science capabilities.
This is a hands-on role requiring successful candidate to work at both detailed task level and higher management support level.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Financial ing & Analysis:
Provide financial information, analysis and support to various stakeholders as required.
Establish and complete overall ing process for P+ specific activities as required to support:
Monthly closing and ing of expected financial impact (Monthly Management Input, review of results, etc…)
Oversee all underpinning ing processes
Lead Annual Budget process
Annual Strategic Planning process
Analyze and interpret financial results vs. Budget, Forecast and Prior Year
Trend analysis
Support the development, tracking and ing of P+ targets and Outperformance Plan (OPP)
Ownership for P+ SG&A costs including budgeting, review of actuals, variance analysis, forecasting, etc…
Energy Management & ing:
ARP expert on ing processes, training, and results
Manage overall portfolio of energy procurement activities and category strategy including:
Commercial RFQs on consultants, electricity, and natural gas
Demand Response contracting and consultant interface
Application of Five Step procurement processes
Collaborate with Energy Excellence Network on cross-functional projects to deliver EBIT objectives as appropriate
Other:
Support the design, development and implementation of process improvement initiatives and activities throughout the Procurement organization
Oversee spend analysis and recommendations in support of M&A synergy activity.
Review and approve P+ business cases
Provide various ad hoc financial analysis and other support as required
Dotted line management of Procurement and Value Plus Analysts including participation in employee selection, development, mentoring, and performance management

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or Finance required
CPA/MBA a plus
3-5 requirements
Successful candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experience developing and leading annual budget, periodic forecasting and monthly closing process
Experience working with financial ing systems/tools and processes (Hyperion, OutlookSoft, SAP BPC or similar)
Experience developing and analyzing complex financial models
Advanced working experience with Excel required
Strong IT systems aptitude (SAP R3, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP BPC/Outlooksoft/Hyperion, Powerpoint, Word
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills required
Entrepreneurial spirit with a full understanding of the whole picture and a winning / collaborative / proactive attitude
