- 12+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 10+ years of finance experience, OR master’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior FP&A Experience with successful track record of managing a team

Amazon.com is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to support the Global Media and Entertainment (GME) Financial Planning and Analysis team. In partnership with business, operations, and technology teams throughout Amazon, this position will drive strategic initiatives to improve financial reporting efficiency and customer experience through automation, process improvements, and defects prevention. This role will engage with executive leadership and cross functional teams to drive results.
Primary responsibilities will include driving planning and budgeting discipline and deliverables, and ensuring financial discipline and compliance.
The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have strong leadership skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. He or she will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment.
The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to scope technical requirements and prioritize tasks
- Ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and work with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Be attentive to details and possess the ability to deal with ambiguity
- Ability to work successfully and effectively on cross-functional teams
