This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses. Key Responsibilities:
Leads all sales activities within their Zone (sales results, marketing, communication, education, employee development, staffing, etc.)
Directs frontline sales leaders within their Zone in implementing tactics for consulting with agencies and financial specialists to achieve sales and business objective targets
Achieves results on initiatives that contribute to growth and profit goals
Designs and directs the leadership of programs, processes or projects that improve optimization, create capacity and support sales growth objectives
Collaborates with cross functional areas to ensure integration around the launch of new initiatives
Analyzes sales activities to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and implements plans to address issues
Shares activity reports, trends, and summaries with AFS Senior Leadership Team as needed
Provides direction for the Zone’s financial specialist pipeline including reviewing candidate qualifications, performing candidate interviews with ultimate accountability for zone staffing plan
Continuously evaluates their Zone sales team including incumbent performance and skill/staffing gaps including identifying development needs providing training, coaching and motivation to enable success
Ensures regulatory, policy and standards compliance within their Zone for themselves, their staff, and Personal Financial Representatives (PFRs) Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role directly supervises Financial Sales Consultants, Fast Start Sales Consultants, Field Deployment Specialists, and Personal Financial Representatives. Education and Experience:
Four-year college degree preferred
12 years of combined sales management/leadership experience in Financial Services
6 years proven track record for obtaining business results through the development of effective internal relationships within the sales organization and across other business functions
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 (where required) or the ability to acquire in the timeframe set forth by the Allstate Broker Dealer
Life and Health Licensed
Advanced degrees or professional designations such as CFP, ChFC, CLU, a plus
Functional Skills:
Advanced Financial Services product knowledge
Knowledge of sales, product, and insurance regulation, with working knowledge of lines of insurance, and product offerings
Strong functional knowledge including analysis of financial data and assess market conditions, trends and indicators; all aspects of sales process and drivers (examples include: projections, goals, targets, cross-sell, retain, profitability, compliance, quality)
Experience using Allstate technology (DASH, AllConsult, eOffice, Gateway, iPipeline, etc.) and Microsoft Office products
Superior interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills; ability to lead and influence virtually
Ability to foster a collaborative working relationship with Agency Sales and other areas of responsibility/centers of expertise
Problem solving – uses seasoned judgment by applying broad knowledge and experience when addressing complex issues
Development – fosters an environment that provides learning opportunities and support to direct reports
Planning and organizational skills – can marshal resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently
Ability to negotiate and influence others
Ability to accelerate sustainable growth
