Financial Lead – Global Integrated Supply Chain (GISC)
What You Will Do:
Update and maintain consolidated cost leverage and plant level cost leverage reports. Work with plant and operations controllers and other finance groups to provide needed information, present results to operations senior leadership
Update and maintain plant metrics working with plant controllers and distribute to operations and finance senior leadership
Update and maintain Americas inventory reports working with and distributing to operations and finance leadership
Work with operations and general accounting on the reporting, forecasting, and monitoring of tariffs on incoming material
Provide global reporting for productivity and inflation (direct materials + labor and overhead) – including annual planning, forecasting and long-range planning. Partner with the GISC team to develop targets, process improvements and analysis regarding these metrics.
Assist with the ongoing reporting, forecasting, and monitoring of GISC cost centers
Development and timely deployment of accurate, consistent, user friendly management reporting as needed
Assist in the maintenance of a robust and effective internal control environment, including leading Olathe’s annual control design assessment
Assist in the prevention, elimination, and timely closure of control deficiencies
Special projects and give general finance support to the GISC group, including COSTLEV implementation support for the International BU
Drive and track and summary reporting for business initiatives
Accurate appraisal, interpretation, analysis of financial results; development of interpretive reporting (bridges, variance analysis)
Analysis of budgets / forecasts, trend analysis
Support month-end close activities for both Olathe and GISC function
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
CPA, CMA or MBA is a plus.
Candidates should have 5-7 years finance/accounting work experience with preferred manufacturing/supply chain experience
Outstanding Excel skills including pivot tables, advanced functions (lookups, sumif, etc), Effective link management, version control / data organization strategy
Ability to leverage PowerPoint and/or PowerBI for the development of concise, user friendly, management presentations
Infrastructure reporting tools experience such as Hyperion (i.e., Planning, CCPLAN, EEPLAN, COSTLEV)
Strong oral, written and formal presentation skills including ability to communicate complex financial issues in a simple way
Strong interpersonal skills: work well as part of a cross-functional team and able to interact at all levels, including executive leadership
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
