The Promotions Assistant will support the ALDI Promotions team by Focusing on assigned areas of responsibility to develop the sales and profitability of ALDI finds, assist with projects and complete delegated tasks.

Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Wage: $25.75 per hour
Work Location: Batavia, IL
This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Manages multiple projects at once by prioritizing, setting deadlines and coordinating the flow of information internally and externally.
• Strategizes effectively to problem solve.
• Utilizes various computer applications.
• Serves as the primary liaison between internal and external parties in coordination with direct leader.
• Provides training to new staff and contributes to committee or teamwork.
• Provides recommendations for changes or improvements on operating or training procedures and seeks further training on areas if needed.
• Performs administrative and clerical duties such as answering phones, preparing documents, maintaining calendar meetings/appointments, upholding files, and processing paperwork.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
• Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy of employee and company sensitive data.
• Researches and keeps abreast of trends and design dynamics in the US market.
• Creates communications regarding completed trend research.
• Illustrates unique print designs and prepares Adobe Illustrator files for suppliers.
• Monitors ALDI International for item and theme opportunities.
• Conducts regular competitive shopping online and in stores.
• Assists in preparation of theme performance reviews with a scope on driving sales and profitability.
• Supports direct and personnel leaders in executing ad hoc PowerPoint presentations.
• Works heavily within Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Other duties as assigned.
