ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR
Position Overview
The Account Supervisor role focuses on the planning, execution and delivering of marketing activities for their brand(s). Your guidance and attention to detail are key elements to providing the highest quality work product to our clients on time, on strategy, and on budget.
In this role, you will be expected to oversee all daily account management activities for your brands. You assume a leading role in the review and evaluation of the quality of the Agency’s deliverables; at times working independently or through collaboration with your team mates.
You are comfortable assuming the role as a mentor to your team mates, when appropriate. You ensure that all communication and marketing strategies are on target at each critical stage of their development, presentation, and implementation.
Ensure that all Agency work is strategically sound, error-free, and exhibits the highest standards of creative and digital excellence
Proactively maintain and grow understanding of the client, the products, and the competitive marketplace to provide the highest quality deliverables for your accounts
Manage expectations of both the Agency team and client to ensure a positive, productive atmosphere
Own, update and drive client status for your projects and at times, represent all client-related status projects
Work closely with Project Management/Client and legal, medical and regulatory points of contact to ensure weekly Veeva submissions are submitted on time, and to Client standards
Drive special projects with external Partners, working closely together to achieve optimal, client results
Continually work toward a final product/deliverable that is aligned to the project brief/Agency/Client agreement, on-budget and aligned with the strategy.
Seek opportunities to grow business within current accounts and into new accounts connected with that client
Lead weekly/monthly financial reconciliation in conjunction with internal and external client finance teams
Foster a positive team atmosphere demonstrating respect for peers, supervisors, and SME’s (subject matter experts)
Ensure that Agency process is followed
Willing to travel as needed – you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas
We’re looking for a talented Account Supervisor with impressive work experience, which typically includes:
Excellent written/verbal communications and solid presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with ability to build rapport with clients/partners/prospects/internal team
Willingness to mentor team mates, as appropriate
Understanding of the creative and digital process and its role in an agency setting
Resilient and flexible to ever-changing timelines, requests and deliverables, with the ability and willingness to think outside the normal/traditional ‘playbook’
Required Experience/Education
4+ years targeted/integrated marketing experience with heavy focus on pharmaceutical in an agency setting
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing /Advertising or related field
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
