Maison Albert Bichot is a leading Burgundy Producer based in Beaune, France. Established in 1831, this family owned winery is one of the largest landholders and producers in Burgundy and enjoying its 6th generation owned and run by the Bichot family.

Albert Bichot USA is a winery owned subsidiary representing and importing the Albert Bichot wines as well as the wines for multiple other French producers across 48 markets in the United States.

Albert Bichot USA LLC is a Richmond, VA based Wine Import Company, which is a subsidiary of French Burgundy Producer Maison Albert Bichot.

The Finance Manager reports to the Albert Bichot USA president located in Richmond, VA. The position roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records
• Payroll
• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Quickbooks Entries
• Working with the subsidiary president and the parent Company CFO to record, monitor, and maintain company financial benchmarks
• Administer Company Insurance and REtirements Benefits
• Administer Company Retirement Benefits
• Calculate and administer sales commission
• Prepare account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and other items associated with the month-end closing process.
• Provide Accountant with necessary documentation to be GAAP compliant and for tax filing.
• Provide Human Resources such as provide to new employees and maintain employee paperwork.
• Maintain Company Handbook
• Administer the onboarding and offboarding process for new and exiting employees

Required Knowledge/Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years professional accounting, finance, or bookkeeping, experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point with an emphasis in Excel
• Proficient in Quickbooks and/or other accounting software

Relationship Building/Communication Skills. Demonstration of exceptional verbal skills in interpersonal interactions in order to build effective communication channels between Company Management, Sales team, customers, and parent company in France

Multi-Lingual: French and English is necessary for this position.

Wine knowledge and industry experience a plus, but not mandatory.

Location: It is preferred but not madatory that this role resides in metro Richmond, VA. Currently, this position is a work from home position.
