Summary:

The Director Benefits directs the planning, design, implementation, and administration of benefits and well-being functions of the organization. Â Â Â This individual ensures competitive benefit package and ensures a pro-active market driven approach.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the review and effectiveness of benefit and employee wellness practices, programs, policies, and guidelines.
• Benchmarks organizational benefit programs to the local and regional markets to develop appropriate recommendations.
• Oversees the review, effectiveness, implementation and on-going administration of benefit and wellness practices, programs, policies, and guidelines.
• Collaborates with HR leaders and organization leaders to design benefit programs that address organizational needs.
• Collaborates in the development of a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, retirement, and other ancillary benefits and initiatives.
• Develops and implements wellness programming that drives employee resiliency and improves key organizational outcomes and metrics.
• Researches and analyzes trends affecting benefits and wellness to assess how the organization can improve its practices.
• Ensure compliance with all benefits and employee health/wellness regulations.
• Supervises employees, provides direction, coaches, trains and develops, and manages performance to company goals and expectations.
• Prepares, manages, adheres, and understands variances to department budget to maintain expenditure controls.
• Other duties as required.
