The Airbnb Host Education, Inclusion, and Communication team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Operations Lead to help us develop and scale programs focused on diversity, equity and inclusion for Airbnb Hosts globally. You will play a key role in bringing to life engaging and educational inclusion programs focused on cultivating greater connection and belonging for all members of our global community at each point along their Hosting journey.You will have the opportunity to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design, execute and scale programs that reach a diverse range of potential, new and existing Hosts, especially those who have been historically marginalized. Your work will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations Host-facing programs as well as the facilitation and follow up from Host-facing events.
A typical day:
Leverage best-in-class learning, facilitation and DEI practices to support and scale the day to day operations of the the Airbnb Entrepreneurship Academy
Develop a deep understanding of the Airbnb Host community and identify opportunities for deeper inclusion through internal/external research, data, and interactions with the global Host Community.
Consult with cross-functional stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs) and Hosts to identify opportunities for deeper inclusion in existing programs and white space for new programs. Escalate points of intersection and opportunities for efficiencies.
Evaluate the business, behavioral and reputational impact of inclusive programs for new Hosts through use of performance metrics and monitoring of trends over time
Report on results to leadership and pitch for additional support and resources when needed.
Your expertise:
8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and facilitating consumer-centric programs
Experience in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives
Expertise in facilitation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work positively with cross-functional stakeholders and align them on common goals
Track record of leading large scale, high impact, cross-functional efforts and driving projects from ideation to strategy and implementation
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams and influence deliverables in a highly matrixed organization structure
Influencing + working in fast pace/ever changing environment
How we’ll take care of you:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $118,000.00 and $150,500.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
Your Location:
This position is US – Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Airbnb,Inc. can employ in states where we have registered entities. Currently, employees can not be located in: Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware and Rhode Island.
