Essential Functions
This position’s essentials include but are not limited to:
Ensures all safety, quality and 6S standards are maintained
Coaches and develops direct reports
Daily production meetings to identify opportunities and successes.
Responsible for development and adherence to assigned Labor, Variable and Fixed Overhead budgets for AFS, ultimately supporting the budgetary goals of the enterprise.
Manages daily production
Uses standard problem solving to improve processes while reducing inefficiencies and waste.
Manages inventory and cost control programs
Reviews and upgrades standard of work as required
Ensures Agri-Fab policies and procedures are followed
Reviews production schedules and customer orders to ensure staffing, inventory requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments are met while considering budgets and time constraints.
Communicates appropriately with upper management, peers and subordinates as needed.
Creates a work culture that aligns with Agri-Fabs core values and core purpose

Detailed knowledge of plant and manufacturing operations to include raw materials, production processes and quality control

Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing principles with proven problem- solving skills
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Ability to perform under deadline constraints while meeting company standards
Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one, small group, and/or large group setting to employees, customers, and vendors.

Education and Experience:
Ideal candidate would possess a BS or Technical Degree in relevant field of study with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or related management experience.
