The Addison Central School District is seeking a dynamic Director of Finance and Operations to provide leadership for a committed educational community. Responsibilities for this full-time position include management of the overall finance and accounting services for the district to include: budgeting, planning, organizing, supervising and directing the business and fiscal operations of the School District, and required reporting to the Vermont Agency of Education.The applicant will supervise cash management, student transportation, food serviceoperations, grant oversight, facility projects, contract and special projects management. Proficient knowledge of governmental financial/accounting (fund accounting) is a plus. In addition, the candidate should possess proven management and communication skills to operate in a diverse environment as a team-oriented employee.The Addison Central School District (ACSD) serves 1,739 PreK-12 students in the greater Middlebury, Vermont area, including the towns of Middlebury, Bridport, Cornwall, Ripton, Salisbury, Shoreham, and Weybridge.
