HR Assistant

The HR Assistant performs a variety of administrative support, technical, and accounting duties to assist with the administration of the District’s human resource function: Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records, assists in the recruitment process, assists in carrying out various human resources programs for all District employees. The HR Assistant will participate in the benefits administration including processing payments of various employer-sponsored insurance plans, employee status changes, COBRA, follow-up, and resolution of benefits questions and concerns, and processing employee changes using a computerized system. Provides coverage and support for the front reception area and provides clerical and operational support to other human resources staff.
Right-Of-Way Professional

The ROW Agent performs right of way work at a journeyman capacity, dealing with all aspects of the more complex right of way projects, including coordinating of right of way activities between ACHD and other agencies, preparing staff reports for commission, attending project development meetings, managing properties, and providing technical assistance to other staff. The Agent assists in the monitoring of the consultants manage right-of-way portions of capital improvement projects, reviews construction plans and project maps, and makes title
examinations.
The Sr. ROW Agent monitors consultants and administers all Right of Way activities including the right of way cost estimates, fair market value appraisal review and understanding, acquisition document preparation, negotiations, relocation assistance, condemnation preparation, and involvement and oversees the property management. The Sr. The agent handles the more complex issues and may direct the work of support staff.
The Right-of-Way Appraisal Reviewer performs in a lead role and handles the complex issues relating to appraisals Estimates of Value; and right-of-way acquisition. May also assist in the monitoring and oversight of right-of-way consultants, particularly appraisal and relocation consultants. This position may require some evening and/or weekend work. May oversee the work of other division staff and direct the work of support staff; assists the division supervisor in reviewing various right of way activities and documents for compliance.
Deputy Director –
Development &Technical Services
Starting wage of $96,424 – $115,482 per year, DOQ

The Deputy Director is responsible for the oversight and strategic planning of District programs and functions as related to development, capital improvements planning, roadway and bridge design, construction, inspection, traffic safety and operations, drainage facilities, and stormwater quality. The Deputy Director is responsible for the management of staff to ensure performance expectations are met with regard to the overall organizational efficiency and performance of the Development & Technical Services Division. Sr. Systems Administrator
Starting wage of $28.72 – $33.02 per hour, DOQ

The Sr. Systems Administrator provides support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the District, including directory and identity management solutions. Provides technical assistance on Windows and cloud-based systems, solves operational problems with, and assists in the administration of cloud services, including but not limited to Azure Active Directory, Windows OS application servers, Azure and AWS services, Exchange Server, Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Project Online and PWA, Adobe Cloud services, and other cloud infrastructure components. This position may require some evening
and/or weekend work.
Leadworker- Grade Crew
Starting wage of $21.58 – $24.81 per hour, DOQ

Perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance functions such as chip sealing, fog sealing, crack sealing, asphalt paving/patching, gravel roadway and alley grading, and shoulder/borrow ditch maintenance. The Leadworker assists with the direction of work for the crew and may act as Crew Chief in his absence. Responding to winter weather conditions nd other emergencies is an essential function of this position and may require workingoutside of normal work hours. The Leadworker will be required to be on an “on-call” rotation year around.
Mechanic

The primary duties of this position are to perform journeyman level maintenance and repair of vehicle and
construction equipment. During winter operations, the incumbent must be available to respond to an emergency call-out, as required on a 24-hour basis.
General Equipment Operator – Grade Crew

Performs skilled work and operates light- to heavy-duty maintenance equipment which includes a dump truck, water truck, roller, loader, jackhammer, as well as winter maintenance equipment for plowing, sanding, and deicing the roads. The Grade Crew performs will repair and replace asphalt on the roadways, including potholes, trench repairs, shoulder repairs, chip sealing, crack sealing, and other road maintenance. All Crews responding to winter weather conditions and other emergencies is an essential function of this position and may require working outside of normal work hours.
Accounting Specialist/Sr. Accounting Specialist
Accounting Specialist starting wage $14.74 – $16.94 per hour, DOQ
Sr. Accounting Specialist starting wage $17.83 – $20.50 per hour, DOQ

Accounting Specialist: Processes incoming payments by check, credit card, and EFT, receives, processes, and
reconciles statements, prepares bank deposits, assists with the preparation and execution of the annual
audit, maintains accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.
Sr. Accounting Specialist: Prepares and maintains the accounting and financial records, resolves complex
accounting discrepancies and record management issues, records, prepares, and enters corrections and
adjustments into accounting systems, oversees the processing of accounting entries, processing inventory on a
monthly basis, recommends and implements complex payroll, accounting, and procedural changes.
