To assist with non-exempt recruitment, accounts payable processing and provide human resource services to team members. This position must possess attention to details, a good knowledge of all HR clerical and specialized functions, a basic understanding of the company’s organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*.Payroll, Incentives, Time and Attendance* + Prepares, submits, and audits weekly payroll and incentives + Manages manual checks + Inputs new hire hours and assigns badge numbers + Conducts Workday data entry including new hires, terminations, and promotions + Administers garnishments + Manages comm data cards + Ensures proper premiums and shift differentials are being applied + Administers and manages the time and attendance policy of all RSC employees + Ensures the proper level of discipline is issued per the time and attendance policy + Maintains the proper points balance and adjusts as needed per the time and attendance policy + Ensures that vacation, sick, and deferred holidays are managed and paid properly + Workday Report – DC Report (labor hour reporting), Daily and Weekly hours, time off report, unmatched punches, corrective actions, meal waivers, and OT.Accounts Payable processing includes, but is not limited to:* + AP Functions + Clearing Employee Store Statements + Weekly invoice processing + Responding to inquiries regarding invoice payment status + Researching outstanding invoices and issues with invoices + Obtaining approval for new vendors + Filing paid invoices.Human resource services include, but are not limited to* : + Explain company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants as needed + Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to human resource activities (including new hires, promotions, terminations, etc.) + File information in personnel files + Assist with special projects, such as annual Children’s Miracle Network Golf Tournament, team member event planning, etc. + Assist Wellness representative, to include promoting and assisting with on- and off-site wellness events, etc. + Remains current on all local, state and federal employment laws and regulations + Manage birthdays, anniversary milestones, and employee recognition + Responsible to maintain HR filing for the department + Order Office Supplies + Other duties as assigned.PAY RANGE* : $19.80 to $24.80.JOB REQUIREMENTS:* + High school diploma required, college degree or HR certification preferred. + Minimum of 1-2 years previous recruiting/HR experience. + Strong interpersonal skills + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours. + Excellent computer skills required to include, but not limited to; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint We want to hear from you!* When most people think of career opportunities with Ace Hardware, they often think of the helpful cashiers and sales associates at their local store.
