Role:
The primary function of this job is to conduct daily activities relating to the accounting function by fully using job-relevant technical skills, maintaining/updating technical skills and seeking to enhance accounting skills. All back-office positions require the ability to make decisions within established guidelines, the willingness to work within environment, and the ability to be a team player in an organization that values the spirit of teamwork.
Reconcile cash and credit card accounts, bank statements, and G/L accounts
Reconcile and report sales revenues daily
Make journal entries as required
Prepare account for audit/financial analysis
Sales tax reports- month and quarterly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Knowledge of account reconciliations/audits/daily transactions
Driven – able to function well in our fast-paced environment
Provides a high level of data entry proficiency and accuracy
Continuous process improvements
Exceptionally detail-oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Qualifications
Accounting: 5+ years
Account reconciliations: 3+ years
Exp. with audits/analysis: 3+ years
Daily transactions: 3+ years
Bachelor’s (Preferred)
